Mom of two
A must for moms with more than 1 child. We bought this watch after attempting to potty train my 2 year old for 4 months. We love it and so does she. It helps to remind all of us when it is time to go because when your trying to potty train one and also keeping up with a 6 month old sibling who’s breastfed, things can be forgotten and accidents happen often. She is doing wonderful now and we are on the right track. The only draw back is that it is not waterproof. I recommend that you have them wear it on their upper arm instead of their wrist. It dried out the first time okay but after she got it wet a couple of times it shorted out. I am ordering a replacement in a neutral color to hold onto it for future use with her brother once she is done.
Best invention
Wow this watch worked and after two weeks my son didn’t need it anymore. I put it on him and set it for 30 minutes. Everytime it went off he would look at his watch and then look at me and then run to his pot. It was so cute once he got the hang of it, because when he started getting the hang of it by the end of the first week the music would play (still set at 30 min.) he would act as if he is sleeping, because he didn’t have to go quite yet. We would make him sit anyways and then we started letting him go longer at 60 minutes and before the watch went off he would have gone on his own schedule…so we don’t put it on him anymore. The only bad things I would have to say about this watch is that the “potty watch” wording wore off in the first week, and the timer button I had to keep fixing. It was getting pressed in too deep. Wonderful item overall.
Potty Watch - Don’t Waste Your Money!
I should have believed the reviews when I read them. The potty watch is a piece of junk. When I got it I showed it to my son before potty training and he was so excited and then it didn’t work. My poor son was so dissapointed. If you are having trouble potty training your child then he or she probablly isn’t ready. I tried potty training my son for 6 months and it was so stressful and then finally one day he decided that’s it I am going on the potty and he hasn’t had an accident at all. Good luck to the potty trainers out there!!
