Overall, it was quite a site to see these cars that are so powerful
by themselves but now in company. One wonders if they swap stories among
themselves just as their owners do or if, as always, they are simply loyal
steeds waiting for their next calling. But no matter how good they looked
parked on the green it is really more the home of plaid pants and golf
carts. These cars are meant to be seen on the road, like the one I tried
to follow back to Monterey. It sounded and looked wonderful aside from
some serious popping. Considering the traffic, it's a wonder its plugs
weren't all fouled! |
